Once we become followers of Jesus, God gives us a new identity by calling us his children (1 John 3:1-2 ; Rom 8:14). Identity is a hot button topic in our world today. Many seek to construct and make sense of the world through how they understand identity. God instead imparts to us a new (externally given) identity as his children (who are indwelt with the Spirit) and calls us to live out of his identity as his followers. This series challenges us to think through what it means to be a child of God in the workplace, within our family, in the church and in a world that self-constructs identity.
