CONSIDER
A fairy tale may end with “They lived happily ever after,” signifying a happy, trouble-free future. After waking up from the romanticism, it is quite the opposite in reality. Life is filled with challenges, to say the least. Moreover, can one “work happily ever after”? The real world again will tell us unlikely. But can Jesus do something about it? The answer is absolutely affirmative. Work can be fun!

PRAY
Dear God our Father, thank You for the gift of work. Help me to labour with fun and joy, not losing direction and grumbling. Redeem my toil, use my skills for your kingdom, and let my work reflect your beauty and goodness. When I grow weary, strengthen me and remind me of your divine calling. Amen.
