Psalm 136
CONSIDER
Every verse of Psalm 136 ends with the phrase His love endures forever. The Psalmist begins by describing God’s sovereign hand over creation then moves to describe God’s faithfulness to his people. The Psalm acts as a reminder to come before Him with thanks, remembering his faithfulness over history.
As we move into Advent, this is a timely reminder that the reason his love endures forever is because God the Father sent His Son to this earth. This Christmas season is our chance to reflect upon our God and how His love endures forever because of what Christ has done for us through his life, death and resurrection.
Come join us Sunday as Dr. Peter Chu will be taking us into God’s Word.

PRAY
Psalm 107:1-3
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story—those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.
Father, may we praise your Name and give thanks to you. May we share stories of your faithfulness so that others may enter into the way of salvation and bring glory to your Name.
Amen.
