CONSIDER

When Jesus talks about the Kingdom of God, we either draw a blank or think about the church.  What if the Kingdom of God was something bigger than the church?  What if the Kingdom was about God’s rule and reign right now in this world, a reign that will be fully inaugurated when He returns?

The joy of the gospel of the kingdom is that it is bigger than the church, it continues to challenge us to be a missional people who are rooted in a local church & sent out in the world.  As we begin this new series entitled “the Gospel of the Kingdom” may we grow in our understanding of the gospel & how God is calling us at SCBC to be a part of his work in this world.

PRAY

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”  Father, we pray for your kingdom to break into every part of our world so more may know you.  Amen.
