CONSIDER
It has been calculated that Jesus approximately asked 307 questions in the gospels, gets asked 183 questions, and answers at most a mere 8.
Take a moment to reflect on that statement. What does it teach us? A good question draws people out, unearths hidden assumptions, and allows people to journey toward Christ.
We are excited to be in our series on evangelism as we discern as a church how God is calling us to engage the world around us. One of the best ways we can do that is not only by answering questions but learning to ask good questions. A question can challenge people to think about Jesus in a new way and wrestle with His claims.
As you come to church this week, I hope God’s Spirit will continue to encourage you to learn how we can better share our faith.
See you Sunday.

PRAY
“In your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” – 1 Peter 3:15
Father, help us to be a people who are ready to share the hope of Christ to the world around us. Help us to be bold, wise and discerning, inviting others to know Christ and believe in Him. Amen.
