Sharing your Hope with others

Sharing your Hope with others

READ

1 Peter 3:15

CONSIDER

When I watch online videos of apologists responding to questions about the faith, I am appreciative of those who are clear, articulate as well as kind. They are well-prepared not only in their content but also in their approach. Peter challenges us (1 Peter 3:15) to be prepared to give an answer for our hope (the gospel) but do so with gentleness and respect.

This week we are thankful to have Rev. Dr. Ho-Ming Tsui back to share God’s Word with us and encourage us in how we are called to share our hope with the world around us in a way that invites them to be a part of God’s family.

PRAY

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”

Father, help us be prepared to know the hope of the gospel and share it with others. Holy Spirit, when we do not have the words, may you speak through us so others may know Christ and glorify the Father. Amen.

How can we live closer WITH God in our lives?

How are we being TRANSFORMED to be more like Christ?

How is the Holy Spirit empowering us to imitate Christ in what we DO this week?
