When you have good news what do you do? Do you keep it to yourself? Do you shrug it off with an air of indifference? I doubt it. When you have good news you share it! You grab whoever will listen to hear of the incredible thing that has happened to you.
So it is with the good news of Jesus Christ. When it touches your life you want to share it with all who will listen.
This week we focus on sharing the good news of the gospel here at home. Our guest speaker is Michelle Lau of Toronto City Mission and her text is Acts 3:1-10.
Pray for our worship together, asking God to equip us for the mission he has given us. Intercede for Michelle asking our Lord to fill her with his Holy Spirit as she preaches his word and lives for him daily.
Our guest speaker – Michelle Lau
Michelle grew up in St. James Town and has experienced, first-hand, the incredible work of Toronto City Mission in her community and in her family. She has been involved with TCM since 2005, first as a summer intern, then as a volunteer and ministry partner. It was through TCM’s investment in her life that she discovered God’s calling to full-time ministry, and it was through TCM’s ministry that her three younger siblings and father came to faith.
Michelle is passionate about seeing our city transformed by the gospel one family at a time. She is married to Andrew, and they have a 14 month-old daughter, named Eden. They currently live in the Steeles L’Amoreaux community.
