Ever experienced a difficult encounter with a family member, a colleague at work, or the person sitting in the same pew with you every Sunday service? How do you feel when someone gives you a hard time? How do you cope and manage your emotions during these difficult times?
Join us along with Dr. Michael Pare on Sat as he shares his professional expertise and thoughts on dealing with difficult encounters with people: 1) what are difficult people encounters; 2) how to understand these encounters using psychotherapeutic concepts; 3) a brief discussion of positive psychology.
Dr. Pare is Chair of the Ontario Medical Association Section on Primary Care Mental Health, President of the North York General Medical Society, and also a teaching mentor of the Medical Psychotherapy Association of Canada.
Plus there will be a sharing of personal testimony.
