The ATCECM’s 43rd Annual Mass Choir Music Worship Service
Will be held on Saturday, Nov 29th 3:30 pm, at the Sanctuary. The Mass Choir, comprised of over 140 members from various churches in the GTA, will present Handel’s “Messiah” under the baton of Dr. Vicky Tan Warkentien, in collaboration with Ontario Cross-Cultural Music Society Orchestra. Conversational English (Cantonese and Mandarin speakers)
The classes will be held at church every Monday from September 8 to November 24, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Registration fee is $20 per person. No child care is provided. Interested parties please register at the Fellowship Hall on August 10 and 17, 2025.
Operation Christmas Child
During October 19th – November 23rd, we invite SCBC to bless others by participating in the Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Shoebox ministry. The mission of OCC is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need, and to partner with the local churches worldwide to share the gospel. SCBC will also be serving as a Drop Off Center for the community during their collection week of November 16th – 23rd.
Parent & Child Dedication Ceremony
If you are new parents or would like to dedicate yourself to the Christian upbringing of your child and present your child to God with thanksgiving, you are invited to take part in the Parent & Child dedication service on November 16th in the English, Mandarin, or Cantonese worship. Our bi-weekly Parents Support Group meeting is inviting Youth Group to a Career Planning Workshop! We’ll have a co-learning space to equip both parents and youth to navigate planning careers and future goals. Together, we’ll discuss scripture, serving our calling, and Christian values. Our special guest, Cindy Chan, is a career coach, mentor and recruiter with experience in overcoming career challenges. She will inspire and equip us as we learn, reflect and dream about career possibilities.
