Child safety is important in SCBC church ministry and we would like to invite you to join our child protection orientation to increase your awareness of child abuse prevention. In this orientation, you will learn our child protection policy, volunteers screening process and how we can be partnering with you to raise children in a safe environment. Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection
Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a non-profit Christian organization. Every year, they send shoeboxes to children around the world with a message of “God is love”. Each shoebox is filled with hygiene items, school supplies and toys. This year, SCBC will be one of the Drop Off Centers for OCC. Adult Winter Clothing Drive
The Outreach Ministry Team encourages brothers and sisters to donate generously used/new adult winter clothing for newcomers and refugees to Canada. SCBC will partner with Agincourt Community Services Association, that has received lots of requests from people who will be experiencing their first winter in Canada, as the cold weather approaches. Operation Christmas Child
During October 23rd – November 20th, we invite SCBC families to bless others by participating in the Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Shoebox ministry. The mission of OCC is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and to partner with the local churches worldwide to share the gospel.
