We live in troubled times. The world is in turmoil. We face life’s challenges on a daily basis. We have tons of questions for God: Where are you God in all this? Are you doing anything? What do you want, God … But we won’t be able to answer these questions unless we have a good grasp of who God is and how He conducts Himself. We must first get to know God and try to understand His character, personality, what He is like, how He operates and acts, and what He asks of us. This course is an introduction to the Doctrine of God. We will together examine what we can gather from the Scripture the different attributes of God. We will consider how each attribute plays out in our world and how it may impact us in the way we pray and live. Our knowledge must be substantiated with real-life experience so we will share personal stories of experience or struggles with the different aspects of God’s character. All who have an honest quest for answers are welcome.
