Teachers: Peter Yien, Daniel Zhang, Fannie Tam >>>

Our lives are filled with ups and downs; successes and failures; filled with happiness and sadness. David had a deep desire to do what God wanted him to do.

In this course, we will explore the journey of living out our lives after God’s own heart through a study of David’s life with other Biblical characters. We can experience how the Lord can speak to us through the text and with one another in learning about living under God’s authority, love of God’s Law, devotions and faithfulness, obedience and struggles when pursued by enemies or sin .

The Lord was David’s Shepherd and he trusted the Lord. David was tested throughout his life and was humbled enough to repent when in sin seeking God’s forgiveness but still had to bear many consequences. Our study of David’s life will encourage us to live out a life after God’s own heart in accordance to His will.

We will be studying 1 Samuel Chapter 16 through to 1 Kings Chapter 2.
