CONSIDER

The mission of the Church is to guide all people into God’s salvation. This mission will succeed, but only if the Church lives in faithful obedience and sacrificial devotion. Its power and assurance of success rest in faith in God, persistent prayer, and a forgiving heart.

PRAY

Heavenly Father, we praise You as the God of salvation, who in Your grace has called a people to Yourself from every nation, tribe, and tongue. Thank You for entrusting Your Church with the glorious mission of proclaiming the gospel and guiding people into the salvation found in Jesus Christ. Strengthen our faith to trust in Your power and promises. Make us a people devoted to prayer, dependent upon Your Spirit, and confident that You will accomplish Your purposes. Give us forgiving hearts that reflect the grace we have received in Christ and preserve the unity of Your Church. Use us for Your glory, that many would come to know and worship You. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
