Do you feel anger for something that other people did not think was such a big deal? Do you have anxious, shallow breathing that you can’t seem to stop when you are with someone? Do you find yourself walking away when your loved ones want to engage with you? Taking care of our mental health is about understanding the emotions, thoughts and senses God created us with to better understand ourselves and the people around us so that we can make healthier decisions in our lives. Anthea Lai is a Registered Psychotherapist who practices spiritually-integrated psychotherapy to support individuals heal from past wounds and be better versions of themselves. She will lead us in focusing on how our emotions and senses work, along with how our formative experiences and biblical perspectives can affect how we take care of our mental health & wellness.
