Serving One Another

Serving One Another

READ

Romans 12:3-8

CONSIDER

Reading through Romans 12:3-8, it is pretty clear that we are called to use our spiritual gifts to serve one another.  However, diving deeper into the text, two bigger questions emerge.  Why should we and how do we do this?

As we continue in our series on Transformative Relationships, I am excited to explore how a life of worship framed by the humility of Jesus empowers us to serve in a way that bears witness to Christ as a body of believers.  I am thankful we get to explore this together and look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

PRAY

Lord, as your people, help us to emulate your way of the cross in how we humbly serve each other.

“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.  And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!” – Philippians 2:5-8
