On September 8th, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake in Marrakesh–Safi, Morocco, caused at least 2,900 deaths and over 5,500 injured. Then on September 9th & 10th, the huge rainfall and floods in eastern Libya resulted in the collapse of two dams and caused an estimated 10,000 deaths and over 40,000 people being displaced. SCBC will contribute from our Charity Fund $5,000 to World Hope International (Canada) for their relief work and spiritual support to the disaster victims on the ground. Please pray for the victims and the relief work, and donate with our Christian love for this cause.
