Come and explore this reality through three Bible characters.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We tend to shy way from talking about suffering within the church community because we find it difficult to reconcile the admonition of \u201crejoice in all circumstances\u201d with the reality that in suffering we can feel angry, unjustified, sad, helpless and even hopeless. We know that if we live long enough, we all have our own stories of suffering. How do we biblically and sensitively approach the subject of suffering? In this course, we would like to invite you take a fresh look at suffering through the experience of Job, Naomi and Joseph after a brief review of suffering from a theological and a psycho-socio-cultural perspective. By then we may get a \u201cwhy\u201d, \u201cwhat\u201d and \u201cmeaning\u201d sense of suffering upon reflecting on the grace of God. Indeed God\u2019s grace have transformed and will continue to transform our lives.
