The Book of Psalms is considered the most loved, read and encouraging book of the Bible (according to 1,600 respondents in the research) and includes a collection of hymns, prayers and poems composed over a period of 900 years. New Testament authors quote Psalms more than any other Old Testament book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we open our Bible, Psalms is located in the middle (the ‘heart’) of it. The Psalms are often called the heart of the Old Testament. That is why John Calvin called it, “anatomy of all parts of the soul.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we study this book, it reveals God’s divinity, nature, revelations and laws while blending in with the Psalmists\u2019 empathic thoughts of daily living including our joy, struggles, sorrows and emotions that we can instantly identify with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us in this exciting journey of studying the 10 genres of Psalms under the three basic study tools:
(1) Comprehension – What does it say?
(2) Interpretation – What does it mean?
(3) Application – How should it transform me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
