As Paul the Apostle declares in 1 Corinthians 15, the gospel of Jesus Christ is clear: His death, His burial, and His resurrection according to the Scriptures. The resurrection is not an afterthought \u2014 it is the promise of God.\u00a0 You would expect anticipation. You would expect hope. You would expect people to be watching, waiting, ready.\u00a0 But instead \u2014 there is confusion.\u00a0 The tomb is empty. The body is gone.\u00a0 No one understands.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Then two men, in garments flashing like lightning, stand before the women and ask a piercing question:\u00a0 <strong>\u201cWhy do you look for the living among the dead?\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 The truth is \u2014 they were not looking for the living.\u00a0 They came looking for the dead, they came with spices in their hands, and despair in their hearts.\u00a0 They were searching in the wrong place because they were living with the wrong expectation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">And what about us?\u00a0 Where are we looking for Jesus?\u00a0 Are we seeking the living or are we still returning to dead places?\u00a0 Are we shaped by past experiences, or awakened by future hope?\u00a0 Today, let us come to the Scriptures, not just to read, but to see.\u00a0 Not just to understand, but to be transformed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Let the Spirit lead us from death to life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: right;\">Pastor Julian Wong<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p1\"><b>P<\/b><b>R<\/b><b>A<\/b><span class=\"s2\"><b>Y<\/b><\/span><\/h6>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Dear Heavenly Father, we confess at times we look for the living among the dead.\u00a0 We return to places shaped by fear, by disappointment, and by past experiences, instead of living in the hope of Your promise.\u00a0 Lord Jesus, forgive us for expecting less than Your resurrection power, and for searching in the wrong places. Open our eyes, Lord, that we may see You as the Risen One. Renew our minds, Lord, that we may remember Your words and trust Your promises.\u00a0 Holy Spirit, lead us out of confusion into clarity, out of despair into hope, out of death into life.
