Who taught you how to study Scripture? How to pray? Who was with you during those difficult moments in life to journey and pray for you?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">This week we are exploring what it means to be equipped through God\u2019s people and his Word. As Paul continues to encourage Timothy to press into his calling (1:1-2:13) by dealing with false teachers (2:14- 4:22), he reminds him to cling to the faith that has been passed down through the generations and is seen in Scripture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">As you come this week, I want you to reflect on this question: how are you pouring out your life for others? And how do you need to be equipped in order to do that?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">If we can answer that, we can continue to experience Christ as we pour our lives out for others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Pastor Tim Sreedharan<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p1\"><b>P<\/b><b>R<\/b><b>A<\/b><span class=\"s2\"><b>Y<\/b><\/span><\/h6>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Father, give us role models and mentors that can point us back to the cross. Help us live out our faith in a way that helps others see Jesus. Teach us to turn back to your Word and form in us a worldview that clings to Scripture and forms us in the gospel. What is the significance of sharing in his teaching, purpose, faith and even sufferings?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Who are your role models in the faith who have shown you their life?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Read 12-13.<\/strong><br \/>What do you think about the statement that we will be persecuted? How does this apply to us today?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Read 14-15.<\/strong><br \/>How has Scripture shaped and formed you in your faith?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Read 16.<\/strong><br \/>Look at the four ways Scripture moves us toward righteousness. Which of these come naturally to you? How are you feeling challenged by this verse?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Read 17.<\/strong><br \/>This takes us back to our theme of \u201cequipped to equip others.\u201d How is Scripture presently equipping you for every good work?
