I will share on Sunday not really having a leg to stand on when it comes to talking about humility because I\u2019m a pride-filled person.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Thankfully, the sermon isn\u2019t pointing to me but to Jesus and how He rode into town on a lowly donkey, showing the world that a true king is one who humbly puts others first.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">My hope for us on Palm Sunday is that Jesus will work in our hearts to transform and make us more like Him so that we can be a church that bears witness to Christ in the way we humbly serve each other and those in our community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Looking forward to worshiping together.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Pastor Tim Sreedharan<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p1\">PRAYER<\/h6>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. (Psalm 25:8-9)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Lord, help us to be a people who look to the cross &amp; see that we are broken and filled with pride. Lift our eyes that we may Jesus, our humbly king, who lowered himself and died for us so that we can experience an abundant and eternal life with the Creator of the universe. The first step is to realize that one is proud. And a biggish step, too.&nbsp; At least, nothing whatever can be done before it. If you think you are not conceited, it means you are very conceited indeed.\u201d \u2013 Mere Christianity<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">What areas do you feel pride has a strong grip on your life?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">When you look at the general trajectory of your life, are you becoming humbler?<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Read Philippians 2:5-11 and look at the humility of Christ on the cross.
