{"id":13404,"date":"2023-02-26T09:30:00","date_gmt":"2023-02-26T14:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scbc.com\/em\/?post_type=ctc_sermon&#038;p=13404"},"modified":"2023-02-28T10:18:24","modified_gmt":"2023-02-28T15:18:24","slug":"invest-for-eternity","status":"publish","type":"ctc_sermon","link":"https:\/\/www.scbc.com\/em\/sermons\/invest-for-eternity\/","title":{"rendered":"Invest for Eternity"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-gdm-google-drive-embedder-viewer\"><iframe width='100%' height='100' frameborder='0' scrolling='yes' src='https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1FKuQQoSLFj8sDjbTBSHnMu3haBD6UZH1\/preview?usp=drivesdk' allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n<h6 class=\"p1\"><b>Read<\/b><\/h6>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Luke 19:1-27<\/p>\n<h6 class=\"p1\"><b>Consider<\/b><\/h6>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The End of February is the Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) season &#8211; the season for some of us investing for the future so that we might live more comfortably without anxiety.\u00a0 This week, when we dive into the Scripture from the gospel of Luke 19:1-27, we will naturally think \u201cHow do we invest our lives for eternity?\u201d When the master told his servants to <em>\u201cput his money to work\u201d <\/em>(v.13), he expected his servants to take risks in the hostile environment. \u00a0The parable also leads us to ponder whether we are living in the comfort zone and not willing to take risk for the eternity or if we are investing wisely for the future. There are three things for us to ponder:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Are we responding God\u2019s Grace with joy?<\/li>\n<li>Are we investing in God\u2019s Kingdom by faith?<\/li>\n<li>Are we expecting God\u2019s work in us and through us in awe?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Brothers and sisters, let us invest our lives for the Kingdom of God and expect our eternal God will do extraordinary things out of His extravagant grace to enlighten us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: right;\">P.
