{"id":12445,"date":"2022-07-31T09:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-31T13:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scbc.com\/em\/?post_type=ctc_sermon&#038;p=12445"},"modified":"2022-08-02T10:27:52","modified_gmt":"2022-08-02T14:27:52","slug":"god-can-deliver-us-from-our-troubles","status":"publish","type":"ctc_sermon","link":"https:\/\/www.scbc.com\/em\/sermons\/god-can-deliver-us-from-our-troubles\/","title":{"rendered":"God Can Deliver Us From Our Troubles"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-gdm-google-drive-embedder-viewer\"><iframe width='100%' height='100' frameborder='0' scrolling='yes' src='https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1sADbkLjUg_fMYxBdvlvBmxydKPVxZ6ZF\/preview?usp=drivesdk' allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n<h4><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Read<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Psalm 140<\/p>\n<h4><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Consider<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">I had a job in university where I was falsely accused of stealing $800.\u00a0 I remember feeling so helpless and powerless.\u00a0 I wanted to prove to my boss and coworkers that I was innocent.\u00a0 I wanted someone or something to rescue me from that difficult situation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Psalm 140 shows us how God can deliver us from our troubles.\u00a0 As David prays, He sees a God who is sovereign and can deliver.\u00a0 He also keeps turning to God because He knows God hears his plea and cares for him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">We have the privilege of worshiping a God who can deliver us from our troubles.
