If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your<sup class=\"m_982940641119163771footnote\">[<a title=\"See footnote a\" href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Romans+12&amp;version=NIV#fen-NIV-28252a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search%3DRomans%2B12%26version%3DNIV%23fen-NIV-28252a&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1496542550427000&amp;usg=AFQjCNERZFLawL7w3mEEz1SpEXQpWYdxzA\">a<\/a>]<\/sup> faith;<\/span><span id=\"m_982940641119163771en-NIV-28253\" class=\"m_982940641119163771text m_982940641119163771Rom-12-7\"><sup class=\"m_982940641119163771versenum\">7\u00a0<\/sup>if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach;<\/span><span id=\"m_982940641119163771en-NIV-28254\" class=\"m_982940641119163771text m_982940641119163771Rom-12-8\"><sup class=\"m_982940641119163771versenum\">8\u00a0<\/sup>if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,<sup class=\"m_982940641119163771footnote\">[<a title=\"See footnote b\" href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Romans+12&amp;version=NIV#fen-NIV-28254b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search%3DRomans%2B12%26version%3DNIV%23fen-NIV-28254b&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1496542550427000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFaznjMpo88_RmzdbnHsY90ALniIA\">b<\/a>]<\/sup> do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.\u00a0<span class=\"m_982940641119163771text m_982940641119163771Rom-12-9\"><sup class=\"m_982940641119163771versenum\">9\u00a0<\/sup>Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.<\/span><span id=\"m_982940641119163771en-NIV-28256\" class=\"m_982940641119163771text m_982940641119163771Rom-12-10\"><sup class=\"m_982940641119163771versenum\">10\u00a0<\/sup>Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.<\/span><span id=\"m_982940641119163771en-NIV-28257\" class=\"m_982940641119163771text m_982940641119163771Rom-12-11\"><sup class=\"m_982940641119163771versenum\">11\u00a0<\/sup>Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.<\/span><span id=\"m_982940641119163771en-NIV-28258\" class=\"m_982940641119163771text m_982940641119163771Rom-12-12\"><sup class=\"m_982940641119163771versenum\">12\u00a0<\/sup>Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.<\/span><span id=\"m_982940641119163771en-NIV-28259\" class=\"m_982940641119163771text m_982940641119163771Rom-12-13\"><sup class=\"m_982940641119163771versenum\">13\u00a0<\/sup>Share with the Lord\u2019s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>Please be in prayer for the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>SCBC Summer Events \u2013<\/b> Orchestra Starlight Serenade, SCBC English Retreat, Summer Fun, Community BBQ.\u00a0 We give thanks to God for enabling us to host these events to build up our families, church, and to reach out to our neighbours.\u00a0 We pray these events will foster a greater sense of connectedness within our church and within our communities .\u00a0 We pray blessings on the planning committees as they work to finalize logistical details.\u00a0 We pray for favourable weather, good health for volunteers and participants, safe travels, and an awesome and memorable time together.\u00a0 We commit these events to our Lord for His glory and honor.<\/li>\n<li><b>SCBC Short Term Missions \u2013<\/b> We give thanks for SCBC members whom God has called to minister abroad.\u00a0 We will uphold in prayer our young adults, who will be away on short term missions with Power To Change, as they represent Christ in Europe and South East Asia for the coming year.\u00a0 We pray for preparedness spiritually, emotionally, physically.\u00a0 We pray for team cohesiveness and continued grace to bear with one another.\u00a0 We trust their financial needs will be met through the generosity of God\u2019s people.\u00a0 We pray for wisdom and discernment in sowing the gospel seed in the hearts of those whom God will send their way.\u00a0 We pray for travelling mercies in their comings and goings.\u00a0 We pray their time away will lead them to a deeper and intimate relationship with the Lord.<\/li>\n<li><b>Partners in Missions \u2013 <\/b>We remember our partners in missions at home and abroad.\u00a0 We give thanks for their faithfulness in serving the Lord.\u00a0 We pray for continued strength and wisdom to minister where they are called.\u00a0 We pray for their families, for wisdom to balance family life and ministry work.\u00a0 We pray the Lord would grant them rest when they become weary.\u00a0 We pray the Holy Spirit would sustain and keep steadfast those who may be facing persecution.\u00a0 We pray the Holy Spirit would minister to them so that they know God is with them and they are not alone.<\/li>\n<li><b>Prayers for the Muslim World \u2013<\/b> If you have not done so, would you consider picking up a This international annual project challenges Christian communities to pray for the Muslim World during Ramadan.\u00a0 I hope participation in this prayer project would enable us to see the Muslim community the way Christ would see them.\u00a0 I hope that as we pray through this daily guide, the Holy Spirit would change our hearts, minds, and attitudes toward this people group.\u00a0 I pray we would be instruments of God\u2019s peace and hope through prayer.<\/li>\n<li><b>Canada<\/b> \u2013 Happy 150th Canada!\u00a0 As our nation prepares to celebrate this <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1721926051\">1st of July<\/span>, let us pray that the Lord would keep Canada glorious and free.\u00a0 We commit our Government (Federal, Provincial, Municipal), Education, Health Care, Social Services, Judicial, Immigration, National Defence, Foreign Affairs, and other branches of governance to the Lord.\u00a0 We pray God will raise up in public service men and women of honour and integrity.\u00a0 We pray for men and women of courage to uphold justice, to serve and protect.\u00a0 We give thanks for the cultural mosaic tapestry of Canada, that immigrants from many nations have made Canada their home.\u00a0 We give thanks that we are proudly Canadian apart from our cultural roots.\u00a0 We pray Canada would maintain our global reputation as peace keepers.\u00a0 Finally, we pray for the churches of Canada.\u00a0 As His people pray, may God rain down His Spirit and revive our land!\u00a0 May He renew the minds and set ablaze the hearts of His people to impact the world with the saving grace of Christ.\u00a0 May the prayers of the saints be a wall of light that holds back the darkness.\u00a0 May God take this nation back!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>With thanksgiving, I look forward to a time of fellowship and prayer together <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1721926052\">this Sunday<\/span> at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\"
