Updates on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD - Euthanasia) : Praise the Lord that due to fervent prayers from Christians and strong oppositions from Canadians, the special Parliamentary Committee on MAiD has officially recommended that the federal government indefinitely exclude mental illness as the sole condition eligible for MAiD. However, this is not law yet. Without new legislation, MAiD will automatically expand to mental illness on March 17, 2027. Please continue to pray:

1. For our Government: To follow up and swiftly pass laws permanently protecting vulnerable lives.
2. For the Church: To boldly cherish and value God’s gift of life.
3. For the Gospel: To faithfully share Christ’s hope with those who are hurting in sickness and mentally.
