Discover your spiritual gifts

Spiritual Gifts are given to you for the sake of building up the Body of Christ. If you don't use those gifts, then you may deprive others of the blessings that God pours out when you use your gifts.

"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:11

There are 4 types of Spiritual Gifts.

• Gifts of the Heart: direct opportunities for service to others
• Gifts of Inspiration: demonstrate the power of God and advancing His Kingdom
• Gifts of Action: moblize individuals or organizations towards accomplishing God's will
• GIfts of Proclamation: convey God's truth to others

Here's a table that lists the variety of spiritual gifts under each category:

Spiritual gifts are distributed according to God's grace, not because of some effort on our part. Spiritual gifts are given to carry out God's purpose. Evaluate your talents, personality, values and passions and see what God has in store for you. Scripture affirms a variety of grace-gifts but does not present an exhaustive list. Therefore, we need to be truly open to what God may chose to do in our lives.

God's purposes are based upon his power & will. He may choose to take you into an area of service in which you are naturally weak to reveal His power & glory. Be attentive and asses your attitude and heart towards to Lord. Spiritual gifts does not belong to the believers; they are an expression of the Holy Spirit doing the Father's will.
