Body Life Opportunities


Role: TIMOTHY FELLOWSHIP - Counselors (2 positions)

Term of Appointment: Minimum 1 year (Sept - June) GR 6-8 (Every Sat morning - 10:30-12)

Spiritual Gifts Desired: Gifts of administration, encouragement / counseling, leadership, discernment

Strengths Desired: leadership, good personal skills, should have a burden to discipline teens, mentoring & teaching skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • A member of the Timothy Fellowship committee
  • Assist committee to discern direction of Timothy Fellowship
  • Lead / Mentor members of fellowship (including committee) as God leads
  • Assist with programs (Program Attend fellowship every Saturday and consult fellowship chair regarding the direction of the fellowship
  • Provide counseling to teens as needed
  • Follow-up with group members outside of small group meetings (i.e., phone calls, emails, etc..)
  • Stay in touch with Body Life EMT point person for follow-up or assistance

Role: GIDEON FELLOWSHIP - Counselors (2-3 positions)

Term of Appointment: Once a week (usually Saturday mornings) for at least a year

Spiritual Gifts Desired: Gifts of Action: Encouragement, Counseling, Leadership, Administration

Strengths Desired: Passion working with high school students and desire to mentor them

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working along with the high school student staff members
  • Assisting with planning of programs and summer camp/winter retreat
  • Attending programs and meetings

Role: Small Group Leaders/co-leaders (unlimited positions)

Term of Appointment: Can be discussed

Spiritual Gifts Desired: Gifts of administration, encouragement, leadership

Strengths Desired: leadership, good personal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or co-lead a small group (6-8 people)
  • Set up schedule for small group meetings (frequency of meetings, can be weekly or bi-weekly)
  • Follow-up with group members outside of small group meetings (i.e., phone calls, emails, etc...)
  • Stay in touch with Body Life EMT point person for follow-up or assistance
