Discipleship, Spiritual Formation and Mentoring

If Sunday school is to teach us the word of God, discipleship and spiritual formation groups are to help believers nurture a personal, lifelong, obedient relationship with Christ and grow into maturity in Christ.

Mentoring is another significant way Christians can help other Christians to grow spiritually. In a mentoring relationship, the mentee takes the lead to establish, with the mentor, specifically what he/she wants to learn.
