Step 1 - PLUG IN TO GOD

To hear the Lord's voice is to first have a deep relationship with the Lord. This may involve having regular devotions & prayer, being part of a body life group and/or fellowship, and mediating on God's word.

Aside from drawing close to God, we also need to be FAT.
F - Faithful and obedient to God
A - Available to do God's will
T - Trustworthy to what we commit to do for God.

Step 2 - PLUG IN TO SCBC

Home is when you feel like you can walk in to a house, know the people around you and how you fit in. That's the same for SCBC. We hope that SCBC will become your church home if it is not already.

Learn about the different ministries within SCBC. What makes up a church community is more than just people attending sunday service! Appreciate the amazing God stories that are alive in our church as we all experience the Lord through serving and connecting with one another.

Learn how you can join a body life group and get to know people

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give us meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrew 10:24-25

Step 3 - PLUG IN TO THE BODY

Once you've found your passion and identified your gifts, search through the different serving opportunities available to see how you can use your gifts for the Lord. Serving is experiencing the Lord and living an abundant life in Christ.

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for use to do." Ephesians 2:10
