I am the Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Congregational Life at SCBC. I was born in Queens, raised in Jersey and I am a New Yorker at heart. I served with the NYC staff for Campus Crusade for Christ for 4 years. As a staff member, I traveled from campus to campus, mentoring college students, leading bible studies, and doing the work of discipleship and evangelism. During that time, my heart for the local church and discipleship grew. The desire to be equipped led him to green and beautiful Vancouver, BC where I attended Regent College. There I developed a greater love for God’s creation, an appreciation for the rich heritage left by saints throughout church history, and a deeper understanding of God and His word. After Regent, God called me to Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church. Our family loves the people of SCBC and see God’s faithfulness in placing them in the GTA.

I am married to Lis, a spunky Korean American. We have two daughters (ages 4 and 3) with another girl due in August 2011.

My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, and listening to sermons. I love getting to know people and hanging out. I also love to play basketball and road bike in my spare time. My weakness is potato chips.
